Storage of your personal data
1. Storage for contractual processing
We store personal data that is processed as part of an agreement for the duration of the contract. After termination of the agreement, we delete the data unless legal obligations or exceptions require longer storage:
- Legal obligations: If we are legally obliged to store your data, e.g. under tax laws (up to ten years) or by order of courts or authorities, we will store the data in accordance with the legal requirements.
- Legal claims: If personal data is required for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims, we will retain it until it is no longer required for this purpose.
- Media content: Photos or films taken at events are not automatically deleted, but are used in accordance with our agreement.
- Job applications: We store unsolicited applications for six months so that we can contact you if we have suitable vacancies.
- Purchase agreements: We store data collected as part of purchase agreements for the duration of the contract and thereafter for the statutory limitation period of three years, unless one of the above exceptions applies.
2. Retention for legitimate interest
- News and updates: We store your personal data for as long as you have registered to receive news and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Events and competitions: We store personal data until the end of the event or competition. Media content such as photos and films will continue to be used as long as they are relevant for our marketing purposes.
- Questions and complaints: We retain data related to product questions or complaints for two years to perform statistical analysis, investigate potential health risks and improve our customer service.
- Website visitors: We store data about your online behavior until you object to the use of our cookies.
- Unsolicited ideas: We process personal data received spontaneously for as long as it is relevant to us.
3. Storage on the basis of your consent
We store personal data that is processed with your consent until this consent is withdrawn.
4. Exceptions in case of legal obligation
The above-mentioned retention periods do not apply if we have to store certain data for longer due to legal obligations (e.g. in accordance with accounting laws).
5. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights under applicable data protection law:
- Right to information: You can request information about your stored personal data at any time.
- Right to rectification: You have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected.
- Right to erasure: Under certain circumstances, you can request the erasure of your data. Please note that this right is not unconditional and we may not be able to fulfill it.
- Right to object: You can object to the processing of your data at any time if this is based on a legitimate interest. In particular, you can object to processing for direct marketing purposes.
- Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your data under certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability: You can request that we provide your personal data in a
structured, commonly used format or transfer it directly to another controller.

6. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss or misuse. Our security measures include secure connections, access restrictions and disaster recovery mechanisms.

We endeavor to resolve all your concerns in connection with data protection by mutual agreement. However, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
